Becoming a Paid Member of GAHWNY

Annual dues from members help GAHWNY continue to support historians in the region and offer educational programming and networking opportunities. Members may qualify for discounted conference fees. Please consider becoming a paid member for 2024.

Please note that public historians are NOT obliged by state law to pay dues to any professional or non-profit organization. It is entirely up to you and your municipality to determine whether to renew or become a new member of any group.

Historians' Network

If you are a government-appointed historian in Western New York, you are automatically part of the historians' network and are welcome to use resources and join events hosted by GAHWNY. To help keep our records current, please submit any changes to your public contact information.
